Wooden Heart Follies: Invasion of the Wood Snatchers
Invasion of the Wood Snatchers explains the mysterious disappearance and reappearance of three of Steubenville’s Nutcrackers since 2017. Turns out they were abducted by aliens from the planet Grumponia. The planet has been saturated with Grumpitude Radiation, and they have lost all their joy. They want to steal the joy that Steubenville’s Nutcrackers bring. It is up to a band of stalwart nutcrackers to stop them. Will they succeed? Come to the show and find out. This family musical is a continuation of the Wooden Heart Follies shows, which take the familiar holiday music of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite and add comic lyrics. The running time of the show is slightly over one hour.
